Instrumental Reprise |
||||
|
This track is an instrumental look back at the album, demonstrating the richness of the tunes in the Canadian railroad song traditions. Instrumental music has been associated with railway music in several traditions. For example, "The Orange Blossom Special" is pretty well standard in the repertoire of most North American fiddlers. Many harmonica players, as well, draw on the train for some of their tunes. This would appear to be due to the musically seductive sounds of the train chugging down the track to frame the rythm of a tune. |
