Dr. William Hobbs
The paintings intersperced throughout the web site were painted by William Hobbs. For many years he was a practicing physician in Southeast Saskatchewan and Southwestern Manitoba. He now devotes his time to creating western Canadian railroad scenes with special emphasis on stations and depots, earning the nickname "Master Painter of Railways."
